Susan B. Anthony

In the mid-1800s, Elizabeth Cady Stanton teamed up with another reformer, Susan B. Anthony, to fight for suffrage (the right to vote) for women in the United States. Both Stanton and Anthony believed that without the right to vote, women could not gain equality with men.
